Congratulations to the team at Smilepod on the latest opening in Londons Soho district.

Tasked with designing the brands newest ‘pod’ to attract image conscious Londoners in one of the capitals most edgy areas was a real joy and its great to see it come to fruition.

Blass have been working intensively on this project since late last year. After a complicated dual phase refurbishment programme that saw the store trading thorough the whole 7 weeks (except for the final 4 days) we are delighted to see the new concept store open for business this morning. Both basement and ground floors of this 10000SqFt unit were fully merchandise and made ready by the VM team overnight.

Whilst we have been struggling to keep warm in London this month, we can only watch on with envy as the Accessorize store we have recently designed in Sao Paulo, Brazil has just opened.
Unfortunately no site visits were required this time!

January 2012 Update

With all the uncertainty that has been talked up in the press you could be forgiven for thinking that the start of the year would be a no-show-event.

However, its been a busy January 2012 with our first openings of the year for the new concept sites of Bacari and Enoteca.

Bacari -the fabulous Venetian coffee bar takes a first bold step into the UK market and is a welcome alternative to the generic roll-outs we have witnessed over the past decade.

Enoteca has seamlessly evolved from our original concept into a more mature and authoritative iteration of this classic Italian format.

Expect an invitation to come and have a drink with us soon!
